The Kisan Vidya Prasarak Sanstha s Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar College of Pharmacy, Shirpur is established in 1983 at Boradi and now shifted to Shingave Shivar Campus Shirpur from Academic year 2022-2023. MAHCOP as self-financed pharmacy college with the aim of providing quality education in pharmaceutical sciences and to develop dynamic professionals from lower middle class and equipping them to face the challenges of the modern world. MAHCOP is recognised by State Government of Maharashtra, DTE Mumbai, and Approved by Pharmacy Council of India New Delhi. MAHCOP B.Pharmacy course is affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, Raigad and D.Pharmacy course is affiliated to Maharashtra, Maharashtra State Board of Education, Mumbai.
MAHCOP has state-of-the-art infrastructure, qualified and experienced faculty who would passionately deliver a world class education and living experience to face the global challenge in this inter-dependent world. We at MAHCOP enable students to utilize knowledge, skills to achieve socio-economic and ethical transformation of the country. The MAHCOP is spread over 5 acres land. The MAHCOP with modern infrastructure comprises of spacious Digital Lecture Halls, equipped Laboratories, well equipped library, gymkhana and Gymnasium, common room for students, Canteen, Multi-Purpose Auditorium as per norms of PCI. For gaining excellence in education, the college organises various curricular, sport and extracurricular activities that facilitate intellectual, physical, professional, cultural and emotional growth of the students. MAHCOP has its library with more than 20 pharmaceutical journals including e-journals and more than 9000 books related to pharmaceutical sciences. A fully equipped computer center with internet facility is available.
In the rapidly changing global scenario the pharmaceutical industry and professionals will play a vital role in shaping up our national economy. Anticipating this demand and to enlighten rays of globalization in rural area the visionary president of Kisan Vidya Prasarak Sanstha, Late Karmveer Vyankatrao Randhir and working president Dr. Tushar Randhe put the wheels in motion that brought about the existence of MAHCOP for providing socio-economic and equal opportunities in Rural area to students. Dr. Mahesh P. Pawar is officiating as principal and the MAHCOP is fortunate to have at its controls. Every year notable contributions are made in the phamacy fields by the institution.
We believe that having established our credentials in the field of education, we need to take our commitment forward through introducing newer and higher avenues for the budding pharmacy students.
