Terms of Use

e-Bharat is a directory of businesses in Shirpur, Maharashtra, operated by e-Bharat Technology Services. We publish information about shops and services so that people can find them.

We are not a party to anything you agree with a shop. If you hire a plumber, buy from a shop or take a job you found here, that is between you and them. We do not supply the goods or services, we do not take payment for them, and we cannot guarantee quality, price, delivery or safety. Check for yourself before you pay anyone.

• Give real details. An account in somebody else's name, or a listing for a business you do not run, will be removed.
• Keep your password, PIN and one-time codes to yourself. Anything done with your account is treated as done by you.
• One person, one account. One business, one listing.
• You must be 18 or older.

Tell us at once if you think somebody else has got into your account, and change your password — doing so ends every other session on it.

Listing is free. You keep ownership of what you upload, and you give us permission to show it on the directory and in the app.

• List only a business you own or are authorised to represent.
• Keep the details true. Wrong opening hours and dead phone numbers are the fastest way to lose the trust of the people searching.
• Upload only photos you have the right to use. Pictures taken from another shop's page, or from the internet, will be removed.
• No unlawful, misleading or offensive content, and nothing that belongs to someone else.

A verified badge means we have seen a Shop Act, GST, Udyam registration or a utility bill in that business’s name. It is a check that the business exists, not an endorsement of how it trades or what it charges.

Write about your own experience. Do not review your own business, do not pay anyone to review it, and do not ask for reviews from people who were never customers. We remove reviews that are abusive, obviously false, or placed to damage a competitor — and we may remove a listing that is caught doing it.

Employers are responsible for the adverts they post and for the way they deal with applicants. We do not check job adverts before they appear.

No genuine employer will ever ask you to pay for a job. If one does, stop and report the advert to us.

• Plans are bought for a fixed period and start when the payment is confirmed by our staff.
• An advert or a paid job listing runs for the period stated when it is booked.
• Prices are in Indian rupees and are shown before you pay.
• Front-page advert space is allocated by us, not bought on demand. Asking for it is a request, and we may decline.
• We may change prices. A change never affects a period already paid for.

• If we take your money and the plan or advert is never activated, you get all of it back.
• If we remove your listing for breaking these terms, there is no refund.
• If you cancel part way through a period, there is no refund for the unused part, and the plan runs until it expires.
• If a payment is taken twice, or an amount is wrong, write to us and we will correct it.

Refund requests go to support@ebharat.info and are answered within seven working days.

• Collect phone numbers, email addresses or listings in bulk, by hand or by software.
• Use the directory to send unsolicited marketing to the businesses on it.
• Try to get into another person's account, or into parts of the system not meant for you.
• Interfere with the site, overload it, or get around the limits on sending codes.
• Copy substantial parts of the directory for a competing service.

We may remove a listing, a review, a job advert or an account that breaks these terms, or that we have good reason to believe is false. Where it is reasonable to do so we will say why and give a chance to put it right. For anything unlawful or harmful, we act first.

We work to keep the directory accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or never go down. We are not responsible for losses arising from dealings with a business listed here, from information a business supplied about itself, or from the directory being unavailable.

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the directory after a change means accepting it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Dhule, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
